#3 Shawn Spears (2020 record - 0-3; Career - 5-8)

When the former Tye Dillinger showed up in AEW, it was considered a big deal. It wasn't as big a deal as Jon Moxley showing up, but it still was important for a few reasons. Firstly, it gave his fans from WWE a chance to see him be featured. Secondly, it also signified one of the first big names to switch promotions.

Since Spears has been a part of AEW, he has had a few big moments. His most memorable act, of course, is when he appeared at Fyter Fest and blasted Cody over the head with an unprotected chair shot. It got people talking and set the stage for Spears' first big singles match in the promotion at All Out against Cody. Things have gone almost the same for Spears when he was in WWE as he lost to the American Nightmare.

In 2020, I can't recall seeing him very much on Dynamite. He's been on AEW Dark a few times in tag team action instead. Offering matches on YouTube is a good way to let some of the roster get ring time and exposure to the masses. But with seven hours of WWE programming available on TV and only two of AEW, it's already hard enough to keep up with all the TV shows and have to watch things online.

Spears has a career record under .500 and a 0-3 record so far in 2020. Was that all that different from his final usage in WWE? Spears has proven to be a good in-ring worker and produce a brilliant promo when given the chance. He needs to be pushed up the card as more than a mid-card stepping stone. He has Tully Blanchard as his advocate as well. Those three things should at least turn into more TV time and spotlight on Dynamite.
