Earlier this year, one of the most memorable stars of the earlier WWE days passed away, following a 2-year losing battle with a heart condition.
Big Van Vader was a fighter till the day that he died, and although one of the most controversial wrestlers in his career, the man was a huge part of wrestling in the 90's. His runs in New Japan, WCW, and WWE, over the years, were all something that everyone should remember.
He had incredible feuds throughout his career and some moments that cannot be forgotten, with him pushing his eye back into its socket in the middle of a match when an accident had led it to come out. What did he do next? Did he go the back like he had the right to do? No, he completed the match.
The final feud of his, that cannot be forgotten, is one that he ultimately lost. Diagnosed with a heart condition due to his years of excess as a wrestler, Vader was told that he had 2 years to live. He did not accept it and went on with surgeries, but in the end, it was to no avail, and he passed away earlier this year.
He certainly deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.
