#4. Tony D'Angelo - NXT 2.0

No other new character on NXT 2.0 has jumped off the screen quite like Tony D'Angelo. From his introductory vignettes to his Italian accent, D'Angelo is a larger-than-life character who oozes charisma. Many fans believed that he would simply be a caricature from the New Generation era, but he has proven to have so much more to offer.

Tony D'Angelo has been dominant in his in-ring appearances, showing that he has a grappling background and can hold his own against anyone inside the squared circle. D'Angelo hasn't shied away from the top stars and has even challenged some. He will be in the main event for years to come. However, it just might not be his time now.

#3. Carmelo Hayes - NXT 2.0

NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes has quickly become the fastest star on the developmental brand and possibly in all of WWE. He signed with the company this year. Hayes stepped up to some of the best competitors on the roster in KUSHIDA and Adam Cole before the brand made its transition to 2.0.

Hayes scored his first huge win, beating Odyssey Jones to win the Breakout Tournament. With Trick Williams by his side, Carmelo Hayes cashed in his title opportunity to defeat Isaiah Swerve Scott for the North American Championship. He has made no secret of believing that he is the "A Champion" and better than Tommaso Ciampa. There just might be a few others ahead of him right now.
