Recent reports have indicated that former WWE Divas and Women's Champion Melina, is set to return to the company. PWInsider reported a few days ago that she has signed a contract with WWE and should debut in the next week or so:

"Former WWE Womens Champion and WWE Divas Champion Melina Perez has come to terms for a return to World Wrestling Entertainment, PWInsider.com has confirmed. There had been interest in Perez earlier this year as the company attempted to book her for the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble, but at the time, she was under an agreement with the NWA. That agreement has since expired. PWInsider.com is told by multiple sources that Perez will be returning to WWE programming within the next week."

Melina signed with WWE way back in 2004 and rose up to the main roster, winning the Divas Championship twice and the Women's Championship thrice. She was with the company for seven years, and was released back in 2011. Melina hasn't been a part of WWE since, but she did appear at last year's RAW Reunion show.

The former WWE Superstar denied the reports of her being signed with WWE, although she said that she was open to signing with the company.

If Melina has signed with the company, Clash of Champions could be a great way for her to return to WWE.
