5 WWE Superstars The Undertaker should call out on SmackDown Live

Who's next for The Undertaker?

What will WWE do with The Undertaker?

That's the million-dollar question that The WWE Universe are asking themselves after the Deadman himself was announced for Smackdown Live next week, and it's led to some pretty rampant speculation. In fact, some are wondering who The Undertaker will target during his appearance on Smackdown Live.

Of course, there is always the possibility of another Superstar targeting The Undertaker, but that doesn't seem as likely with The Phenom's recent run with the company. Beyond that, with Undertaker's role as the judge, jury, and executioner of WWE, it seems all too obvious that he is coming to call someone out.

Whether that turns out to be true or not remains to be seen, and will depend on what exactly WWE has in mind for next week's segment. Still, here are the five Superstars that Undertaker is most likely to call out.

As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you want to see happen next week on Smackdown Live

#5 Aleister Black

Could The Undertaker knock on Aleister Black's door?

What if The Undertaker came knocking at Aleister Black's door?

While some might see that as an impossibility, especially given Black's place on the card right now, it would be a great way to catapult Black up a few rungs on the ladder. In fact, between the dualities in Undertaker and Black's personas and how entertaining The Dutch destroyer is in the ring, it would almost warrant a dream match status.

Again, this is probably the least likely of all the choices, but it would still be a career moment for Black. Beyond that, it would give a very good indication of how high WWE's stock is in Black and what they plan to do with him going forward.

In the end, it would be a very interesting situation to watch unfold and pretty much falls in line with the unpredictability WWE have shown lately.

#4 Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon should have to answer to The Undertaker again!

The Undertaker and Shane McMahon have already crossed paths on multiple occasions and while The Deadman was able to help Roman Reigns fight off McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules, that doesn't mean he's done with him. Furthermore, the atrocities that McMahon has committed in WWE lately is more than deserving of The Phenom's ire.

Beyond all that, Shane hasn't been seen on television lately, which could mean WWE is waiting for the right moment to trot him out again. That right moment could end up being Undertaker calling out McMahon for what he has done to Roman Reigns and countless other Superstars, thus creating another epic encounter.

In all honesty, it's probably not the outcome that everyone wants, especially with one particular Superstar being much more deserving, but it would be pretty sweet to see these two go at it again. It might even result in one of those omg moments that WWE has become very good at creating lately.

#3 Sting

Undertaker versus Sting. Who wins?
Undertaker versus Sting. Who wins?

The WWE Universe has been dying to see The Undertaker and Sting finally meet inside the squared circle, and Smackdown Live might just be the best place to do it. Not only would it really help to boost ratings - especially only months before the blue brand moves to Fox - but it also puts SmackDown Live on a level footing with Monday Night Raw.

As if that isn't big enough on its own, this would also probably go down as one of the greatest moments in Smackdown Live history. Think about it: If WWE is willing to pull out all the stops for a dream encounter on the blue brand, it will instantly become obvious that WWE is willing to take risks on the quote-unquote "B-show" show again.

With that being said, WWE has more than shown that they are willing to take big risks with their product in order to win over fans, and this move would almost be perfect for that. If nothing else, putting Undertaker and Sting in the same ring together would be a huge treat for fans and could set the stage for something even more special.

#2 John Cena

What if John Cena came back as The Dr. of Thuganomics again?
What if John Cena came back as The Dr. of Thuganomics again?

Imagine this...

The Undertaker makes his signature walk to the ring, grabs a microphone and calls out John Cena for leaving WWE to pursue movies. He could even go on to talk about how Cena had gone soft and that he was becoming just another wandering soul in need of being collected by The Deadman.

WWE could then flip the script by having John Cena come out to his Dr. of Thuganomics theme, let him grab a mic and rip Undertaker with a few one-liners. Maybe WWE could even bring back Undertaker's biker persona and really take fans back to when these two first met almost two decades ago.

Either way, watching these two have any kind of interaction again would be must-see television and a great way to end the show. In fact, between the nostalgia, the one night only feel to the whole situation and how must prestige both men carry, this could be what catapults Smackdown Live to upper status.

#1 The Fiend

Let's be honest here.

The Fiend vs The Undertaker is the dream match that The WWE Universe has been dying to see ever since the weird Mr. Rogers-like character debuted on Raw and the desire for that is only going to grow. With that being said, and The Fiend still looking for a new challenger after disposing of Finn Balor, why not give The Undertaker a go?

WWE can finally do the torch-passing moment that should have happened when Undertaker faced Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, and it will cement The Fiend as the new "Face of Fear". It might even lead to The Fiend getting that coveted run with The Universal Title, which is all the more reason to do it.

Sure, some fans are wary about whether to put the Universal Title on The Fined, but one thing everyone can pretty much agree on is the fact that The Fiend versus The Undertaker would be legendary. Beyond all that, it could result in one of the most bizarrely awesome moments in WWE history!
