The Empress of Tomorrow has fallen hard over the course of the past year. She went from winning the Royal Rumble match last year, to performing in the 2nd Annual Women's WrestleMania Battle Royal. Less than two weeks before from The Show of Shows, Asuka lost the SmackDown Live Women's Title to Charlotte Flair. She went on to deliver a heartfelt speech on her loss.
The WWE Universe slammed the company for treating a wrestler of her stature in such a disrespectful manner. It's no secret that Vince McMahon is high on Charlotte Flair, which explains the last-minute win over Asuka. Moreover, it was done so that the main event of WrestleMania became a "Winner takes all" match. Triple H has had a history of bringing in international talent to diversify the WWE roster.
Additionally, he knows that Asuka is a legit tough-as-nails wrestler and is someone who could become a mainstay on the top of the Women's division for years to come. Expect a mega push for Asuka once Vince McMahon steps down and lets Triple H handle the main rosters.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
