Being booked as a massive heel, the cheers that Velveteen drew against arguably the biggest face on the roster, Alesteir Black, really told the story. Here was a young man who had no reason to be cheered, other than the epic story he was able to tell from his in-ring work.

Since then, every time he has appeared on TV, the fans have responded with respect and adulation and this can only continue on the main roster.
