Kurt Angle was last seen on WWE TV ahead of WWE Survivor Series where he was squashed by the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre. Kurt Angle is still the permanent General Manager of RAW and has not been fired by RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon yet.

Angle could join Balor and Elias for two kayfabe reasons. The first being, his position as the General Manager of RAW and the second to avenge his loss against Drew McIntyre. The Olympic Gold Medalist needs to return to WWE TV since he cannot let his position as the permanent General Manager of RAW, slip away without any efforts to stop it from happening.
