2002 run was a disaster

The way in which one remembers Scott Hall depends on perspective. We could either remember him as the creative genius that gave us some classics, or we could remember him as the wrestler that had problems with his personal demons.

This contrast was perhaps the reason why Scott Hall’s return to WWE didn’t work out.

The returned happened on 2002 and Hall was part of the WWE’s version of NWo. Forgettable in-ring work combined with bad booking from WWE resulted in a disastrous spell for the former Razor Ramon and it ended up being a spell that neither Hall nor Vince McMahon would want to remember.
