5 Superstars who will be dearly missed at WrestleMania 34

The night on one wants to miss.
The night no one wants to miss.

WrestleMania is the only PPV of the year, which no wrestler wants to miss. Throughout the year, superstars vie against each other to get a spot on the match card for the “Show of Shows”. It is the night where one can immortalize himself by delivering a classic performance.

However, there are a few wrestlers who will be dearly missed by the WWE Universe at this year’s show.

#5 Samoa Joe

The Samoan's intensity will surely be missed.
The Samoan's intensity will surely be missed.

The Samoan wrestler is one of the top heels on the WWE roster. His ruthless aggression and consistent ring performances amplify his persona. He is one of the rare wrestlers who have the ability to churn the emotions inside the fans by his sheer presence as a heel.

Currently, he is out of action due to a foot injury, which he sustained in January this year. It is going to be a huge loss for WWE to have him sit on the sidelines at the most coveted show of the year. His intensity will surely be missed at WrestleMania along with his Coquina Clutch.

#4 Bray Wyatt

He is one of few remaining
He is one of few remaining "characters" in WWE.

The “Eater of Worlds” saw the end of his rivalry against Matt Hardy a couple of weeks ago on Raw. Not to mention, he was defeated in the Ultimate Deletion match at the Hardy compound.

As of now, Bray Wyatt is not present on the match card for this year’s WrestleMania. There is still a chance that he might compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (like Matt Hardy).

The leader of the Wyatt Family walked in as the WWE Champion at the last year’s event. Even if he now competes at the Battle Royal, he will be on the pre-show. His shift in role from the defending Champion last year for a pre-show participant this year is quite drastic.

#3 Kane

The “Big Red Monster” is undoubtedly a future Hall of Famer. Last week, he competed on Raw in the main event against John Cena. However, as of now, there is no concrete plan for him to be a part of WrestleMania 34. His short appearances for two weeks were only to enhance the storyline for John Cena and The Undertaker (fingers crossed).

He will be running for the office of the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Not to mention, that election day in less than a month away from the “Showcase of Immortals”. Hence, he is not looking for a big angle at this year’s event.

#2 Dean Ambrose

We would have loved to see him compete at WM 34.

Ambrose will be the only member of the Shield who shall be sitting on the sidelines at this mega-event. The energy which he brings to the ring will certainly be missed by the wrestling fans worldwide.

Currently, he is out of action due to the triceps tear which he suffered in December last year. Surely, it is going to be more heart-breaking for him than anyone else to miss this year’s event.

"The Lunatic Fringe” is one Superstar who is known to keep the audience on the edge of their seats, thanks to his devil may care attitude. We are sure he will part of WWE’s plans after WrestleMania 34.

#1 Chris Jericho

It will be awesome if he somehow makes it to WrestleMania's list.

There are only a few wrestlers who have surpassed Chris Jericho when it comes to popularity. The “Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla” has given numerous memorable performances over the decades at WrestleMania.

However, it seems that he is not going to be around at this year’s event to entertain his fans. Currently, he is working with NJPW. His match with Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12 was awarded a five-star rating from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It is very unlikely that Y2J will compete in this year’s event. However, a lot of surprises are expected from WWE at WrestleMania 34. He might just be one of them.
