All of that has changed over the last few weeks as she became the number one contender for Carmella's Smackdown Live Women's Championship.
Becky Balboa's time in the limelight was finally coming, but things have seemingly become complicated once more with the return of Charlotte Flair.
The match for the championship is now a triple-threat, as the Lasskicker is in danger of being overshadowed by the returning Flair.
Carmella is not masterful in the ring, so expect Flair and Lynch to carry the match on their shoulders and regardless of whether Lynch wins gold or not, there is no doubt she will be front and center in Smackdown Live's programming post-Summerslam.
