As the Ultimate Opportunist, Edge was able to terrorize Friday Night SmackDown, after joining the brand in 2007.

With his cunning offense and tactical mind, The Rated-R Superstar was already a formidable opponent but took it to the next level after aligning himself with then-SmackDown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero.

Together, the pair dominated the brand, using an array of superstars to keep the World Championship with them, including Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder and Bam Neeley.

Edge returned as a face in January 2010, but would not hold the World Championship until December that year, perhaps proving that for the Canadian, it was good to be bad.
