There's no denying that Daniel Bryan was an influential component in the fans' turning their backs on Roman Reigns when the latter went on to win the Royal Rumble in 2015.
Since the fans wanted to see Bryan lock horns with Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31, the company booked a solid match between the two in order to make Reigns earn his spot at the Show of Shows.
The two tore the house down and Bryan was successful in presenting Roman as a fantastic in-ring performer. The Big Dog remains thankful for what Bryan did for him in 2015 and has openly stated that he would be the only superstar he would want to turn heel against.
While we have seen these two compete before, a future bout between the two could make for an electric atmosphere, possibly in the main event of WrestleMania.
Regardless of their in-ring showdowns, Bryan and Reigns have remained good friends with each other, with the Big Dog always advocating himself as one of Bryan's biggest admirers to date.
