Look at how far the ranks The Miz has fallen from the Tweet linked above, which I admit, did make me chuckle a fair bit. Even though Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were in the same ring as him, neither picked him to be a part of their team. The Miz has a lot to offer the world and he could do so as a heel, which is where I believe his true calling is honestly.

You can draw parallels with both Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair who did play babyfaces at certain points in their lives, but they never seem to be relevant except for when they were heels. In fact, in Charlotte's case, she really came into her own after her team PCB run, when she became a heel and she has not looked back ever since. I have a feeling that WWE could potentially do a storyline where it seems like The Miz will be a part of Team Hogan, but he ends up being a part of Team Flair, showcasing his heel colors.
A heel Miz could elevate the likes of Apollo Crews and Aleister Black and turn them into big stars again.
