5 things that could happen on RAW before Fastlane

Vince McMahon could be subjected to a vicious attack on the upcoming episode of Raw.
Vince McMahon could be subjected to a vicious attack on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Last week's WWE RAW was an exciting one, with the shocking return of Batista, who attacked Ric Flair before his 70th birthday celebrations, Roman Reigns announcing that his leukaemia is in remission, while RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey laid her title in the ring and walked away after Becky Lynch attacked her once again.

On the Fastlane go home show of RAW this Monday, we could expect more shocks and surprises as WWE build up to this weekend's PPV, while also laying storylines for the big daddy of them all, WrestleMania 35, which will come to us next month.

Here, let's take a look at 5 things that could happen on RAW before Fastlane:

#5. Dean Ambrose saves Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins

Last week on RAW, Roman Reigns returned to WWE television with some great news for the WWE Universe as he announced that his leukaemia was in remission and that he is back in action.

Reigns and Rollins came to the aid of Dean Ambrose later in the night as the faction of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Elias, and Bobby Lashley attacked The Lunatic Fringe.

It is quite certain that Reigns will be back in the ring on RAW this week, and he could perhaps team up with Seth Rollins to face two of the four above heels in a tag team match. As has been the case over the last few months, we could see the four gang up against the others and attack Reigns and Rollins, which could prompt Ambrose to save his former Shield brothers.

There have also been reports that Braun Strowman could join the trio which could result in a 4-on-4 tag team match for Fastlane.

#4. Ricochet & Aleister Black become RAW tag team champions

New RAW call-ups, Ricochet and Aleister Black, have been on a tear since being called up to RAW, and have competed on SmackDown, RAW, and NXT as a tag team, recently.

Although WWE haven't announced which brand the duo will be assigned to, there is a huge possibility that RAW could be where the two high-flying Superstars are destined for.

Black and Ricochet faced off against RAW Tag Team Champions, The Revival, last week on RAW, and even defeated them in a non-title match. Could we maybe see the two demand another shot at The Revival, this time with the tag team championships on the line?

Well, although it is too early for Black and Ricochet to hold the belts or even be afforded a chance at the RAW Tag Team titles, they've impressed in their short stint on the main roster, while the WWE Universe seems to be very over with them. WWE should perhaps capitalize on this momentum that they have and put the title on them.

#3. Finn Balor's Fastlane opponent

Last week on RAW, Finn Balor faced off against Lio Rush in a singles match, where the Intercontinental champion was pushed to the limit by Rush.

This unlikely feud seems like a filler feud that will most likely not go anywhere. With all due respect to Rush, who is a phenomenal athlete, Balor deserves a stronger opponent.

Bobby Lashley is currently part of the faction that comprises of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Elias, and it seems that they may take on The Shield at Fastlane.

This leaves Balor with no strong opponent, which means that a returning Superstar or one of the recent NXT call-ups could face Balor this Sunday. Sami Zayn is scheduled to return to the WWE after his injury, and he could be a good opponent for Balor, while a match against NXT North American Championship Johnny Gargano, would be one for the ages!

#2. Batista surprise attacks Triple H

One of the highlights of last week's RAW was Batista's surprise attack on Ric Flair, as The Nature Boy was set to head to the ring to take part in his 70th birthday celebrations.

Batista sent a message to Triple H, and this feud could result in a match at WrestleMania 35. The Game is set to address the situation on this week's RAW, while Batista is also scheduled to be at the show, on Monday.

Could we perhaps see Batista mount a surprise attack on Triple H to advance their feud or maybe even attack someone else who is close to The Game, like he did with Ric Flair?

#1. Ronda Rousey threatens to quit WWE; Becky goes face-to-face with Vince McMahon

Another huge surprise in last week's RAW was Ronda Rousey laying her RAW Women's title in the ring and walking away after Becky Lynch attacked her once again.

Lynch, who was suspended by Vince McMahon, was later arrested for showing up on RAW and "trespassing". Rousey and Lynch have gone at each other throughout the week on social media, taking personal shots at each other.

Some reports have suggested that Rousey is planning to leave WWE after WrestleMania 35, which could be added to her current storyline with Becky and Charlotte.

Meanwhile, Becky also took to social media and took potshots at Vince McMahon, Rousey as well as Charlotte, which may not make Vince McMahon very happy. We haven't seen a face-to-face situation between Becky and Vince McMahon, but this week's RAW could be the place where that happens, and maybe even when Becky attacks Vince, like AJ Styles and Kevin Owens did before.
