This week has been full of AEW rumors. Chris Jericho has with AEW, and Goldberg could do the same. Also, Kenny Omega is reported to be approached by WWE to sign him, but he has rejected it already.

Despite AEW making more news than WWE, there are some biggest and most surprising WWE rumors this week. It's now time for us to take a look at this week's biggest WWE rumors.

Is John Cena's WrestleMania 35 opponent already decided? Or did WWE make their decision regarding Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania 35 plans? Let's check it out.

#5 Jason Jordan to return soon

All we've to do now is to wait and see how Jason's next evaluation will go
All we've to do now is to wait and see how Jason's next evaluation will go

Jason Jordan has been out of action for almost a year now. But, given the recent news regarding his condition, it seems that it's just a matter of time before we see Kurt Angle's kayfabe son back in the ring once again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, "Jason Jordan is “pretty much fine.” He is still having an issue with one of his hands and this is concerning. Maybe it is grip strength or ability to make a fist, as of now it is unclear. These issues are holding WWE from giving him the green light.

Also, it was reported a few months back that Jason Jordan is cleared for in-ring return, but as previously mentioned this issue with his hand following the neck surgery has held him back from being cleared 100 percent.

Therefore, all we've to do now is to wait and see how Jason's next evaluation will go and if he will be cleared in time for WrestleMania 35.

Maybe we will get a chance to see him going against Kurt Angle, as this match was supposedly planned for WrestleMania 34 previously, but due to this unfortunate injury sustained by Jordan, those plans were set aside.

#4 WWE planning a push for Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews has been used so poorly that it seems he might never recover from it
Apollo Crews has been used so poorly that it seems he might never recover from it

Apollo Crews is one of those superstars who is held back in WWE despite having unbelievable athleticism and talent. Since making his debut on the main roster, he has been used poorly. But according to the recent rumor, things might change for the former Titus Worldwide member following the Royal Rumble PPV.

As per Mike Johnson of PW Insider Elite audio, "It seems that WWE wants to do something with Apollo Crews. Maybe he’s on a slow burn because he is going to enter the Royal Rumble. I feel like there’s a lot more potential to him and I worry that they’ve kind of used him so poorly that he’s never going to recover.”

Therefore, maybe this can explain why Crews won the recent 'Fresh Start Battle Royal' a few weeks back on Raw to get a shot at Dean Ambrose' Intercontinental Championship.

Though Apollo didn't win the title, if WWE is seriously planning on pushing him then they should go with it carefully as since making his debut, Crews has been used so poorly that it seems he might never recover from it. The only thing he can do to catch WWE Universe's attention is pulling out something amazing and unexpected.

#3 Kenny Omega has turned down WWE offer, and will now go to AEW

The reports clearly suggest that Omega will not be heading towards WWE as he will get a little bit more freedom in AEW
The reports clearly suggest that Omega will not be heading towards WWE as he will get a little bit more freedom in AEW

Earlier this week it was reported WWE reached out to Kenny Omega with a seven-figure deal to sign him to the company, but according to the latest report, Kenny Omega has turned down the lucrative deal.

According to Bodyslam.net (h/t Ringside News), Kenny Omega has already made his choice between WWE and AEW, and it's AEW.

Therefore, this report has ruled out the chances of us seeing 'The Destroyer' in WWE. The only thing that can make Omega sign WWE is if he wants a match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania.

The reports clearly suggest that Omega will not be heading towards WWE as he will get a little bit more freedom in AEW but if he wants to go there than why he wasn't in the attendance at AEW's recent rally. Hence, it points towards the possibility of him signing with WWE.

In the end, let's just wait and see what happens after the first week of February, as Kenny's contract with NJPW will run out then.

#2 John Cena's WrestleMania 35 opponent

It'll be a humungous push for Sullivan as his first WrestleMania will be against the 16-time World Champion
It'll be a humungous push for Sullivan as his first WrestleMania will be against the 16-time World Champion

Earlier this week it was reported by us that John Cena's WrestleMania 35 opponent will be recent NXT call-up Lars Sullivan. Also, Sullivan is supposed to start a program with Cena this Royal Rumble PPV to set-up his WrestleMania 35 match. But due to the situation that came up this week on Raw and SmackDown Live, it seems that this match is off the table now.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc), this week Lars Sullivan was supposed to work in a pre-Raw dark match, but he didn't show up or was sent home due to an anxiety attack he had. Due to this, he was scheduled to perform in a pre-SmackDown Live match but he didn't show up there either.

Therefore, given this condition of him, John Cena vs Lars Sullivan is off the table now as WWE takes the issues related to mental health very seriously.

However, if WWE decides to go forward with this plan, then it'll be a humongous push for Sullivan as his first WrestleMania match will be against the 16-time World Champion, which is absolutely big.

#1 Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey will happen, but not at WrestleMania 35

Between Royal Rumble PPV and WrestleMania, only two PPV comes up, Elimination Chamber and Fastlane
Between Royal Rumble PPV and WrestleMania, only two PPV comes up, Elimination Chamber and Fastlane

For many months it was rumored that there will be a triple threat match between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, along with Ronda vs Becky at WrestleMania 35. And according to the latest report, WWE has made their decision on this main event worthy match.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Ringside News), “As of today (plans subject to change), the WrestleMania match is Ronda vs Charlotte vs Becky in a three-way, but for those of you that want a Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch match, it is still penciled in to take place before WrestleMania. So you’ll get to see both matches.”

Therefore, according to these rumors, we will see Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch not at WrestleMania 35 but before it. Between the Royal Rumble PPV and WrestleMania, only two PPVs come up - Elimination Chamber and Fastlane. Given the magnitude of The Man vs The Baddest Woman on Planet, it seems that this matchup will happen at the Elimination Chamber.

Hence, to set up a match between these two women at the EC PPV, Ronda Rousey is speculated to get involved in Becky's match at the Rumble.
