After signing for WWE following her tryout in London the year before, Nikki made her NXT debut at a house show in Tampa, FL.

Nikki, under the ring name of Nicola Glencross, teamed up with Mandy Rose to take on the team of Aliyah and Liv Morgan.

Nikki and Mandy Rose were unsuccessful, but a few weeks later, the current RAW Women's Champion would taste victory for the first time on an NXT house show with a win against Liv Morgan. Eventually, Nikki would go on to become a part of the SAnitY stable.

Following her run on NXT, Nikki made her SmackDown debut in Manchester, England in November 2018.

Between the period of 2017 and 2019, people were starting to take notice of Nikki and her in-ring work.

Nikki was named on PWI Women's 100 for 2019 and came in at 18th place. She appeared above names like Carmella, Mia Yim, and Ember Moon.

Women's wrestling all around the world is thriving. It's no surprise that Nikki went down a couple of places in the 2020 version of PWI Women's 100. Names such as Rhea Ripley and Thunder Rosa have surpassed her.

It is very likely we will see Nikki ranked in the top 20 again once the new list is released.
