TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2018) is one of the biggest pay-per-view (PPV) of the event which is being scheduled to be the last PPV of the year.

The PPV will serve as the build towards the biggest event of January next year known as Royal Rumble. This means that TLC will need to have a few great spots that can help build rivalries and stories for superstars and take them into Royal Rumble with something to look forward to.

One of the extreme PPVs of WWE just like Extreme Rules and Hell in a Cell, TLC has a few matches which involve the use of WWE’s most common weapons tables, ladders, and chairs, which gives the PPV its name.

To make TLC a blockbuster event to end 2018 on a high and give fans something to look forward to for Royal Rumble, there are at least 5 things the creatives must do to ensure the event is a success.

#5 Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio compete in a Chairs match

The rivalry between Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio is getting more and more intense week after week. After wrecking Jeff Hardy, Orton has found a new target in the returning veteran Rey Mysterio who was caught completely off guard by The Viper.

In the past couple of weeks, we have witnessed Orton attack Mysterio and injuring the little man by the use of chairs. He first put a chair around Mysterio’s neck and chest and rammed him into the ring post two weeks ago, and then put a chair against his throat and sent him smashing into the steel steps last week.

The rivalry could witness a fitting end at TLC, and the stipulation for the match should be a chairs match since Orton has been using the weapon to his advantage against the master of the 619.

Both men are veterans of the WWE, and it would be extremely entertaining to watch the two go head to head in an extreme match to brighten up the event.

#4 The Demon stuns Drew McIntyre

Balor will need a lot of heart to beat McIntyre
Balor will need a lot of heart to beat McIntyre

The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre has put Finn Balor through a lot of pain in the past few weeks, taking over the rivalry which was once between Baron Corbin and Balor.

Balor stunned Baron Corbin a few months back at SummerSlam 2018 by returning The Demon to face Baron Corbin who he beat in under two minutes.

In such a high-profile match, it’s time The Demon returns again to even out the score against Drew McIntyre who will not waste a second to lay waste to Balor again at TLC.

The only way in which WWE can book the match where Balor beats McIntyre is by making The Demon return. It will put Balor over while not making McIntyre look week at all and continue their feud.

In case Balor loses to McIntyre, McIntyre’s reputation will remain the same while Balor’s will further decrease which won't be good for the superstar and the company.

#3 Daniel Bryan wrecks AJ Styles

It was a low-blow that ended Styles' reign

Daniel Bryan stole the WWE Championship from AJ Styles just a couple of weeks ago after using his dirty tactics in their championship while turning heel in the process.

Now The New Daniel Bryan is scheduled to face AJ Styles in a rematch for the title at TLC 2018 which will be one of the highlights of the event and may even headline the show.

Styles held the title for a long time and was a great champion. It’s time to move on and give Bryan a good run and he could begin that at TLC where he can not only beat Styles but completely wreck him and make him unable to compete for the next few weeks.

This would not only allow Styles some time off from television but also establish Bryan as a bigger heel while giving other faces on the brand a chance to compete for the title till Styles returns.

#2 Baron Corbin gets DELETED

RAW needs a new General Manager
RAW needs a new General Manager

Baron Corbin has turned RAW into a joke and will be competing at TLC 2018 against The Monster Among Men Brawn Strowman. If Corbin wins, he gets to become the permanent General Manager, but if Strowman wins, Corbin loses his job while Strowman gets a Universal Championship match at Royal Rumble 2019.

With that in mind, it’s important to note that Strowman is currently suffering from an elbow injury for which he has undergone surgery. Now it’s unclear whether he will be able to compete in the match or not and who can replace him.

In case Strowman is unable to compete, the best option to replace him would be Matt Hardy who can return to DELETE the General Manager Elect and take his position in the company as the new Raw General Manager.

Hardy can then make his first match as the GM by announcing that Strowman will get his championship match against Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2019.

Hardy has already expressed his disappointment at the way things are being done at Monday Night Raw currently, and Bray Wyatt who recently faced Corbin at Starrcade has also hinted at the veteran taking the reins of Raw.

#1 Asuka turns heel

A heel Asuka could be good for the blue brand
A heel Asuka could be good for the blue brand

One of the biggest matches we will witness at TLC 2018 will be the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between the current champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Asuka.

The Man is the favourite to keep her title since it is possible that she will face Raw’s Women Champion Ronda Rousey in the coming months, and the match will have more appeal if Lynch remains the champion.

Keeping that in mind, it means Charlotte and Asuka will have to suffer defeat once again at the hands of The Man, and Asuka seems like the favourite to take the pin in the match to protect the already over Charlotte.

But WWE should think out of the box and turn Asuka heel in the match, where she beats down Charlotte with Lynch and helps the current champion retain her title, creating a new partnership between the two.

It’s unfortunate that Asuka has fallen so low in the blue brand, and it is best if she is protected rather than Charlotte since she deserves more title shots in the future.

A heel turn can also benefit the Japanese born superstar who is desperate to get some spotlight and a chance to shine on television which could boost her current popularity.
