#3 Seth Rollins defends his Universal Championship in an impromptu match
Seth Rollins in the reigning Universal Champion on RAW, but there is little doubt that WWE might want him to jump to SmackDown for one night only in order to make SmackDown’s debut on FOX even bigger.
Rollins was announced as the captain of Team Hogan for Crown Jewel on RAW this week and teased a match against Randy Orton which ended up being a two-on-one beatdown after King Corbin decided to join Orton.
If Rollins does appear on SmackDown this week, he should get into another confrontation with Randy Orton, and build hype for the big Team Flair vs Team Hogan match by putting his title on the like against The Viper.
Of course, a title change or even a definite end to the match is not required so that both Superstars remain protected by the end of it. Instead, WWE could use the opportunity to add another member or two to each team who could help Orton and Rollins in a post-match beatdown.
While a huge match for the WWE Championship is already scheduled between Kofi Kingston and Brock Lesnar, adding the Universal Championship to the episode could further bolster its ratings.
