5 things that will happen on Raw to hype up Elimination Chamber

Are you gonna ask your father in law?
Are you gonna ask your father in law?

WWE Elimination Chamber happens in two weeks from this Sunday, and with much less time by their side, the company needs to do everything in their power to hype the pay-per-view that is known for its ability to inflict pain.

The structure inflicts pain on the participants, and while that isn't the only match on the show, the storylines need to put in place to elevate the feuds around and beyond Elimination Chamber.

With the Road to WrestleMania officially underway, there are different ways that the company can put different storylines into perspective to ensure that we have a spectacle by our side on 17th February, when Elimination Chamber comes to you live from Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

With that in mind, let's look at 5 things that can transpire on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw:

#1 Dean Suffers the wrath of his words

Certified Lunatic!
Certified Lunatic!

Dean Ambrose tried to interfere in a business he knew nothing about, and infuriated Triple H in the process. Hunter doesn't take irrelevant actions lightly, and unlike Vince, he doesn't suspend the performer.

This means that Dean will have to face more adversity on Monday Nights, which is a boon for the fans. A confrontation between an Authority figure and a wrestler isn't a new one, but none of them was a lunatic like Dean, and this means new and more cunning means to inflict pain on the opponent. With Elimination Chamber around the corner, this will be a sure shot hit if booked properly.

The only question is what kind of a match will Dean be involved in on Raw? Lumberjack match, Steel Cage or an all-out brawl, the list is endless, and with the WWE COO running operations, there is a possibility that we may see Dean overcome those plans to build their feud for WrestleMania.

#2 Kurt Angle addresses his status

You Don't Suck, your Stotylines Do
You Don't Suck, your Stotylines Do

Kurt Angle is a Hall of Famer, but the veteran isn't given enough time to show his skills on the roster. There was news that he took Zack Ryder's spot in the Royal Rumble match, and if that is true, he still hasn't got his due which is quite shocking for all.

In an attempt to address his status within the company, the former Olympian will be on Monday Night to share more light on how he plans to take things forward with the WWE. From the looks of it, I expect an interference from Baron Corbin which will result in The Lone Wolf at the receiving end of an Angle Lock.

This will set the tone for a match between these two at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and let's be honest, who wouldn't want to see Kurt Angle tap out another performer in the middle of the ring.

#3 Alexa Bliss issues a challenge

Goddess on the mic
Goddess on the mic

She was sidelined since her injury before WWE Evolution but did make her return inside the squared circle at the Royal Rumble. If the pop received by her is any indication, you can expect some of the best moments in the field of women's wrestling when she steps up and challenges the SmackDown Women's Champion.

With Ronda Rousey already involved in a storyline with Becky Lynch, the only championship up for grabs is Asuka's, and there's no better competitor for it than The Goddess of the WWE.

While a match between Ember Moon and Asuka would have rewritten history, her injury opens up a way for some new storylines to be put into perspective, and we can expect Alexa Bliss to step up to the challenge. It would be nice to see the mystical Empress of Tomorrow meet The Goddess of the WWE, and create moments that will be worth remembering in years to come.

#4 Seth Rollins is a part of the Intercontinental Championship match

Burn it Down
Burn it Down

There is no one bigger and better than Seth Rollins right now on Raw or WWE. With a lame storyline around the Intercontinental Championship currently in full swing in the WWE, the only way this championship and the wrestlers can get a boost is by making him a part of the championship storyline.

While we all know that even if the match is sanctioned for Elimination Chamber, it wouldn't reach its desired outcome because Brock Lesnar will interfere in some way or the other, and cost Seth Rollins the title. This will set the pace for Brock Lesnar versus Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, and believe me, no one would blink an eye, or move a muscle when these two powerhouses decide to go head to head with each other.

The match between Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins will just be a filler due to the two-month gap between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

#5 Ronda Rousey addresses her opponent

Lasskicked!
Lasskicked!

Becky Lynch is indeed 'The Man' because she steps toe to toe with anyone that tries to challenge her, be it a legend, another former wrestler like The Rock or even The Baddest Woman on the Planet, Ronda Rousey.

She is living her gimmick to the fullest, and it is her antics and the behavior that has made her a fan favorite. When her music hit last week on Raw, the fans gave a huge pop, and I would wait to see what happens when Ronda Rousey tries to step up to the challenge and address The Lasskicker.

If this promo is monitored by Paul Heyman, it would have firecrackers like Ronda's promo against Nikki Bella before WWE Evolution. The promo became the talk of the town, and with two powerhouses and great entertainers planning to step up their game, expect some amazing words by the reigning, defending, undisputed Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey.
