#3 A Seth Rollins heel turn

A much-needed change?
A much-needed change?

Seth Rollins is slowly and steadily transcending as the new poster boy of Vince McMahon's billion dollar empire. Starting the year with a massive Royal Rumble victory, 'The BeastSlayer' then went on to defeat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. If that wasn't enough, he again pinned 'The Beast' at the biggest party of the summer, exponentially adding to his value in WWE.

What started as a fan-favorite run from the former Shield member is gradually losing the support of the WWE Universe, especially after his controversial Hell in a Cell match against The Fiend. In a recent episode of the Firefly Fun House, Rollins invaded the place and burned it to ashes.

Rollins has been a babyface on the main roster ever since Triple H screwed him in 2016, making it more than three years now. His run as a heel after turning on his Shield brothers was one of the greatest of this decade and fans are clamoring for a change and a return of the heel Rollins. Only this time the Universal Champion may be even more ruthless.

One of Rollins' biggest fans, Sportskeeda's very own Phillipa Marie, especially asked me to mention this point in the article. Judging by fan reaction on social media, many are eagerly waiting to see 'The BeastSlayer' bring back his old heel persona.
