#4 Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez opening the show

Eight matches took place at WWE Crown Jewel (excluding the battle royal match which was held on the kick-off show), and any one of those matches could've opened the show. Instead, the WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez did the honors, which came as a big surprise for many fans.

A lot of people expected this match to either close the show or take place towards the end. This was a huge match, and it was for the WWE Championship as well. While it only lasted 2 minutes and 10 seconds, Lesnar and Velasquez put on a pretty decent MMA-type match, and the right person won. Still, the quickness of the match was pretty unexpected.

#3 Tyson Fury defeating Braun Strowman via count-out

Tyson Fury, The Gypsy King, made his WWE in-ring debut in a match against The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman. The match surprisingly ended via count-out after Fury knocked out Strowman with a punch. Many people knew that Fury was going to win, but none of expected the match to end via count-out.

The Gypsy King did not disappoint. The two monstrous athletes put on a decent match of their caliber, considering Fury's lack of experience.
