Fans of NXT spotted that on last week's show, William Regal was stood in front of the Evolution poster where he discussed his forthcoming announcement that would be "landscape changing" for the Black and Gold brand.

Evolution was WWE's first-ever, and currently, only all-women pay-per-view. It was an event that went down well with fans, and featured appearances from WWE legends Trish Stratus and Lita, a Last Woman Standing match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship and a headline RAW Women's Championship match between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey.

Despite fans constantly asking for a follow-up to Evolution, it has still not happened. A second installment of Evolution would be a great celebration of women in WWE, who have been somewhat pushed to the sidelines on RAW and SmackDown recently. Thone women's title match on the most recent WWE pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber.

Evolution 2 would be an opportunity for the women of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT to come together to showcase their talent on a larger stage.
