This week's WWE Extreme Rules PPV might be headlined by an extreme rules, intergender tag team match, but the pro wrestling world is still reeling from the excellent Tessa Blanchard vs Sami Callihan bout at Sunday night's Impact Wrestling Slammiversary PPV.

The bout was not only great, but was a historic moment in pro wrestling as it proved a long argued point that women are more than capable of competing against the men. The post-match moment featuring Sami Callihan offering Blanchard a baseball bat was a reflection of the respect fans have for the kind of competition seen from Tessa Blanchard at the PPV.

Considering the above, it now rests on the shoulders of Becky Lynch and Lacey Evans to show the WWE Universe that they are capable of taking their extreme rules match to the next level.

On the Smackdown Live side of things, the Women's Title match featuring Bayley defending against Alexa Bliss will now be a two-on-one handicap match, pitting The Champ against both Bliss and Nikki Cross with the gold on the line.

With Nikki Cross challenging Bayley on Raw to find a friend as loyal as Alexa Bliss, Sunday night is the perfect time for Sasha Banks to make her long awaited return to WWE TV.
