#4 How did she got the name "Sasha Banks"?
Banks came to WWE in 2012, where she got the ring name "Sasha Banks". Now the story behind her getting this name is interesting.
She had suggested a couple of names for her. Among those names, one had "Sasha" in it and the other one had "Banks". WWE decided to combine the two and hence the name Sasha Banks came up.
As far as her Boss persona is concerned, she got the idea to call her "The Boss" from her rapper cousin, Snoop Dog.
#3 The BFFs and debut of the Boss gimmick
In 2013, Sasha Banks competed in the tournament to determine the inaugural NXT Women's Champion, but she lost in the first round against Summer Rae.
After weeks of influence to make herself relevant, Banks finally joined forces with Rae, attacking Paige and turning heel. This is where she debuted The Boss gimmick. The duo called themselves the BFFs, before being separated in Jan 2014 due to Rae moving to the main roster.
