1. John Cena vs The Nexus
On 7th of June in 2010, the Nexus made an outstanding impression in the WWE by taking out a number of superstars including Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Chris Jericho, Edge, Jerry Lawler and various others. The Nexus was like a pack of wolves, hunting and preying upon everyone in their radius. They even destroyed the WWE ring and massacred an entire arena before unleashing themselves upon every possible WWE Superstar in the locker room.
At one point it seemed that they were unstoppable. It was then, Cena rose and stood up to the occasion. At first, Cena was scheduled to face the 7 members in a 7 vs 1 handicap match. Cena took out Darren Young and thus faced the remaining six members in a losing effort. The rivalry and the feud continued between them when in SummerSlam Cena paired up with fellow WWE members against the Nexus and won the match.
At Hell in a Cell, Cena lost to Wade Barrett and was stipulated to join the Nexus. The story-line continued till Survivor Series were Barrett lost to Randy Orton and Cena was fired (Kayfabe). However, Cena returned each week and attacked all the members of Nexus. John Cena then returned and faced Barrett at TLC where Cena defeated Barrett and thus ended their rivalry.
