Paul Heyman has been one of the main reasons why Brock Lesnar has been able to get over as a monster heel in recent years and following the end of the streak back at WrestleMania 30, The Beast Incarnate's advocate proved just how good he is on the mic.
As part of a speaking tour that Heyman was part of following WrestleMania, he started the conspiracy that Brock Lesnar wasn't actually supposed to end the streak that night. Instead, Lesnar acted on his own and decided that no one would be able to stop him if he did make history on that night.
Many fans were so taken in by Heyman's story that there was a belief that this was the truth and many news outlets actually shared the story that Lesnar had gone off-script.
