Angle's promo was directed towards Sheamus and Cesaro, in which he had to explain to them what they needed to do to bag a chance to represent WWE RAW at Survivor Series.

Angle revealed that he forgot his lines and went on to approach Vince McMahon and apologize for his mistake. The WWE Chairman had some interesting advice for Angle in response.
“I remember I forgot a promo, the whole entire promo, while I was out there. I went back and said, ‘Vince [McMahon], I’m sorry, man.’ He said, ‘Next time,’ and he pulls the promo out... He says, ‘Put it in your pocket and if you forget, pull it out.’ The problem I had with that is if I had notes in my pocket, I’m not going to remember.”
The WWE Hall of Famer engaged in a rivalry with King Corbin during his stint as RAW GM. The feud culminated in a match at WrestleMania, which was promoted as Angle's farewell bout. Corbin defeated Angle and he rode off into the sunset with 80,000+ fans cheering for him.
