5 twists that could happen at WWE Elimination Chamber 2019

Does WWE have a huge swerve planned for Elimination Chamber 2019?
Does WWE have a huge swerve planned for Elimination Chamber 2019?

With WrestleMania 35 just under a couple of months away at this point, things are really heating up in the WWE with both Superstars and the WWE Universe eagerly waiting for Elimination Chamber 2019, which comes to us later tonight.

The card isn't as strong as the Elimination Chamber PPV cards in recent years but the show will be headlined by two exciting Elimination Chamber matches. The first sees WWE Champion Daniel Bryan defending his title against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and Kofi Kingston.

The second Elimination Chamber match will see the first ever WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions crowned as 6 teams go head to head for the title - three teams from RAW and three teams from SmackDown.

Elimination Chamber will also see Buddy Murphy defend the Cruiserweight title again Akira Tozawa. The best tag team in the world, Shane McMahon and The Miz, defend the SmackDown Tag titles against The Usos and Ronda Rousey will defend the RAW Women's Championship against Ruby Riott.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship will also be defended in a handicap match as Champion Bobby Lashley teams up with Lio Rush to face Finn Balor. The card is rounded off by Braun Strowman taking on Baron Corbin.

#5 Becky Lynch attacks Charlotte backstage

What will Becky Lynch do at Elimination Chamber?
What will Becky Lynch do at Elimination Chamber?

Earlier this week on WWE RAW, Mr. McMahon announced that Charlotte Flair will replace Becky Lynch in the RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania. WWE is going all in on this storyline and furthered it at a recent WWE Live Event where Charlotte Flair attacked Becky Lynch once again, doing more damage to her injured knee.

There is a chance that Becky Lynch could look for some sort of retribution tonight at Elimination Chamber despite not being on the card and a backstage attack could be a way to keep Becky in the picture.

#4 The Miz turns on Shane McMahon

Who will leave as the new SD Tag champions?
Who will leave as the new SD Tag champions?

The Miz and Shane McMahon are the SmackDown Tag-Team Champions and will defend their titles against The Usos later tonight. The self-acclaimed 'best tag-team in the world' only won their titles at the Royal Rumble and it is expected that they will split up before WrestleMania, leading to a singles match on the 'grandest stage of them all'.

I think that The Miz and Shane could lose their titles as soon as tonight which could lead to The Miz turning on Shane McMahon either tonight or on SmackDown on Tuesday night.

#3 McIntyre levels Braun Strowman

Strowman vs Corbin
Strowman vs Corbin

Braun Strowman faces Baron Corbin at WWE Elimination Chamber in a match that has flown under the radar much like the feud itself. It just feels like we've already seen this before and that the feud has no steam at this point. Kurt Angle was recently introduced to the feud too.

As far as the match tonight goes, there's a good chance Drew McIntyre could turn the numbers game against Strowman once again.

#2 A new WWE Champion?

Will we see a big title change?
Will we see a big title change?

Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber tonight against 5 of the toughest men on SmackDown Live. Although he has Rowan outside as insurance, I think there's a good chance Bryan loses the title.

However, if he does, I still expect him to win it back before WrestleMania 35 and walk into 'Mania as the WWE Champion.

#1 Sasha and Bayley don't win the Women's Tag titles

Sasha Banks and Bayley
Sasha Banks and Bayley

Sasha Banks and Bayley are the favourites to leave WWE Elimination Chamber with the WWE Women's Tag-Team Championships but I don't think that's what WWE is planning.

I think Sasha and Bayley will be there till the end and come really close to winning but coming up short. Why? I think WWE will pull this swerve so that Sasha and Bayley can win the titles at WrestleMania 35 which is WWE's biggest night of the year.
