WrestleMania 35 is less than 35 days away!
WrestleMania 35 is less than 35 days away!

With a little over one month remaining for the biggest wrestling extravaganza of the year, WWE is pulling out all its guns to make sure this year's WrestleMania is a huge success.

There are a lot of interesting storylines going on right now both on RAW and SmackDown. From the Becky-Ronda-Charlotte to the Kofi-Bryan-Owens, a lot of the matches and feuds are promising.

With Seth Rollins winning the Royal Rumble and challenging the Beast for the Universal Title at WrestleMania, and Becky winning the Women's Royal Rumble to challenge Ronda for the RAW Women's Championship, fans are sure to be highly involved in these matches.

Recently, Batista made his unexpected return to WWE, attacking The Nature Boy, Ric Flair before his 70th Birthday Celebration on RAW and calling out hunter for a potential match at WrestleMania.

With WrestleMania 35 coming close day by day, fans have already started predicting the outcome of each match.

But even after all these predictions, WWE is known for pulling out swerves on the biggest stage of them all to keep the unpredictability value higher and make more and more people tune in to the fall-out show of WrestleMania.

In this article, let's take a look at 5 Unexpected things that can shock everyone at WrestleMania 35. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.

#5 Lars Sullivan debuts and wins the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Can Sullivan win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal?

One of the most anticipated debuts of the year has been that of NXT's newest monster, Lars Sullivan. His debut was hyped for a long time through vignettes on both RAW and SmackDown before WWE decided to maybe change the plans due to some reasons.

With the rumors of his RAW debut cancelled due to him having an anxiety attack before that segment, Lars Sullivan's monster push might just have halted, if not stopped.

A great way to introduce him to the Main Roster would be to make him a surprise entrant in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, dominate it and walk out as the winner. This would establish him as a big threat on the main roster for the months to come.

#4 Brock Lesnar retains The Universal Championship

Will The Beast stand tall at WrestleMania 35?

Last month, Seth Rollins defeated 29 other men to win the Royal Rumble and challenged The Beast Brock Lesnar for The Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Brock destroyed him on RAW with numerous F5's and The Architect is waiting to get his hands on The Beast and his Title at WrestleMania.

While almost everyone is expecting Seth to walk out of WrestleMania as the "BeastSlayer" and the new Universal Champion, WWE could pull out a twist and let Brock retain the title in a gruesome encounter.

It would be pretty much like last year, where everyone expected Reigns to win, but Brock managed to pull out a victory and retain the championship. Only this time, the fans would be behind the challenger and would care about the match.

With Brock reportedly working the Saudi PPV after WrestleMania, WWE can let him retain the title via some heelish tactics or someone's interference and let him drop the belt to Rollins at the Saudi PPV afterwards.

#3 The New Day turns on Kofi Kingston

What if Xavier Woods and Big E turn on their brother?
What if Xavier Woods and Big E turn on their brother?

One trend that WWE establishes in its storylines quite often is that jealousy destroys brotherhoods. A lot of factions have ended because one of them starts getting more attention than the others, and jealousy does the rest of the work.

Same could be the case with New Day if Kofi Kingston does win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The last month has been a career-defining month in Kofi's history because of his amazing matches and sudden popularity rise among the WWE Universe.

Many fans speculated that if The New Day breaks up, Big E would be the one who will get a singles push. But it looks like WWE has decided to give that singles push to Kofi instead.

As of now, both Big E and Xavier Woods are standing with their brother to help him get his one-on-one match for the WWE Championship. But if and when he gets it, and wins the title, there's a huge chance of both of them turning on him just to prove that they are better.

If this happens, it could lead to some very interesting feuds after WrestleMania. We've all been talking about a Shield triple threat, how about a New Day triple threat? Sounds interesting to me!

#2 Charlotte wins the RAW Women's Championship

Will the Queen do the unthinkable?
Will the Queen do the unthinkable?

Without any doubt, the hottest angle going into WrestleMania is that of the RAW Women's Championship. From Becky Lynch winning the Royal Rumble to challenge Ronda for the title at WrestleMania to Charlotte turning into a top-notch heel trying to ruin Becky's life-long dream, the feud has been very interesting.

With Ronda's heel turn on this RAW and Becky taking on Charlotte to get her spot back at WrestleMania, the championship scene keeps getting interesting week after week.

A lot of fans are expecting Becky to beat Charlotte this Sunday at FastLane and then beat her and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania to become the new RAW Women's Champion. While that most probably should be the plan going forward, but imagine WWE swerving us all and letting Charlotte win the match and the title.

Will there be any bigger Heel than her if this happens? I doubt. While this decision may not go well with a lot of fans, WWE might pull this off to maintain the saying of "the only predictable thing about this business is that it is unpredictable".

#1 The Undertaker comes out and announces his retirement

Will the Dead Man grace New Jersey with his presence?
Will the Dead Man grace New Jersey with his presence?

The Undertaker has been arguably the biggest performer in the history of WrestleMania. His undefeated streak at WrestleMania was a record that I'm sure no one will ever replicate.

With that being said, even The Dead Man is helpless in front of his age and his body is definitely not in the best of shapes.

With the rumors of him already being retired from in-ring competition and constantly making out-of-character appearances in many events, it seems like the Phenom has finally decided to call it a day.

Though it can't be denied that without the Undertaker, WrestleMania would seem to be missing a huge part of its glorious history, the truth is that this has to happen eventually. And it might happen this year itself.

WWE is yet to announce or give any hint of whether The Dead Man would be appearing at the grandest stage of them all this year. In my opinion, WWE could be planning an impromptu appearance from the Phenom, only to announce his retirement from in-ring competition.

With all that The Undertaker has achieved in his career, he deserves a whole arena chanting his name and thanking him one last time before he makes his way back to The Death Valley once and for all.
