5 ways Becky Lynch could make it to the WrestleMania 35 main event

One way or another, the RAW women's championship will headline WrestleMania 35. Such a scenario would create history - as women have never headlined the Showcase of the Immortals.

At the moment, RAW women's champion, Ronda Rousey, will defend her title against Charlotte Flair. Even though Becky Lynch won the 2019 women's Royal Rumble, she has been suspended by the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

However, for the sake of coherence in storytelling, it is mandatory that the Irish Lass kicker should be a part of the WrestleMania 35 main event.

In this thread, we will take a look at five ways Becky Lynch can punch a ticket to the WrestleMania 35 main event. We will take a look at a few scenarios that could potentially trigger the chain of events that would ultimately end in Becky Lynch fighting Ronda Rousey (and Charlotte Flair) at WrestleMania 35.

#5 By attacking Vince McMahon

In WWE, attacking the boss could give you a potential title opportunity

Just a heads up - attacking your boss is never a good solution in real life. However, in WWE, attacking the authority is the go-to action for a red hot babyface to earn something valuable.

Stone Cold harassed Vince McMahon during the attitude era, Roman Reigns attacked Triple H and co to earn himself a title shot, and Braun Strowman destroyed the production set to revoke his suspension.

So, attacking an authority figure would be the most obvious path Lynch can take. The Man could attack Vince McMahon. Apparently, McMahon is not impressed with the 'bad' attitude Becky possesses.

However, during episodes of SmackDown LIVE, we saw Mr. McMahon constantly taunting AJ Styles to be aggressive and show his 'real' side - which prompted the Phenomenal One to attack McMahon. The attack surprisingly impressed McMahon. Similarly, Becky could impress her boss by attacking him - prompting him to add her to the main event.

We all know Ronda Rousey has a killer attitude in any ring she steps in. However, WWE has been trying to portray her as a sympathetic babyface out of the ring. Consoling opponents after their losses, and issuing regular open challenges are some traits she displays regularly.

WWE may have Rousey cut a promo on how Charlotte earned an undeserving shot at the RAW women's title and how the authority ripped Becky Lynch off. We may even see Rousey refusing to defend her title at WrestleMania 35 if Vince McMahon does not rescind his announcement, causing a void at the top of the card.

Of course, such an approach could be seen as dull by some of the fans. But nevertheless, this is a possibility, and let us hope it does not come to this.

For some reason, Vince McMahon finds it "best for business" to give Becky Lynch the last chance to qualify for the RAW Women's championship match.

However, before Lynch can go on to face Rousey, she has to defeat someone. That "someone" could either be 'the Irresistible Force' Nia Jax (since Becky has some sort of unfinished business with Jax) or the Queen - Charlotte Flair at Fastlane or even WrestleMania.

If Lynch were to face Jax, the main event of WrestleMania 35 could become a triple threat match between the champion Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch - which would still agitate a lot of fans. However, a better solution would be to have Charlotte Flair taking on Becky Lynch, with the winner getting a title shot against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35.

WWE Hall of Famer and Legend, Ric Flair, is scheduled to celebrate his 70th birthday on RAW, in a couple of weeks. With Charlotte Flair stealing Becky Lynch's opportunity, it is easy to see that this birthday segment will have some relevance to the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Since Becky Lynch is currently under suspension, she is not accountable for any of her actions (in kayfabe). Thus, crashing the Nature Boy's 70th birthday celebration segment would be a great way for Becky to resume her road to WrestleMania 35. Having a verbal battle with Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair would put Becky over big time

Unless you were not following WWE during 2013-14, you would know about Daniel Bryan and his road to glory. Even after being the hot fan favorite, Bryan was denied entry to the main event scene by the higher-ups in WWE.

None of the influential backstage staffs believed in Bryan. However, once CM Punk left WWE, a lot of cogs began turning, and WWE had no choice but to succumb to the WWE Universe.

The most important part of Bryan's elevation to the top was the segment where he hijacked RAW with some of his followers and refused to leave until he was granted a match against Triple H at WrestleMania 30 - which would act as the qualifier to the main event.

Since this angle was critically acclaimed, WWE can repeat a similar invasion with Becky Lynch taking charge. Being the hottest commodity on the WWE roster, it is the least WWE can do to reward The Man for her talent.
