Another option for Brock Lesnar if he returns to WWE in January is participation in the 2021 Royal Rumble Match. He could either declare himself for the match or simply show up at the Rumble as a surprise entrant. There is scope for a truly shocking moment here, with Lesnar rocking up in WWE with no indication of a new contract between the parties.

Brock Lesnar might have some unfinished business with the Royal Rumble, after having an excellent performance in last year's match. He entered at No. 1, despite being the WWE Champion. The Beast proceeded to eliminate 13 Superstars before being dumped out by Drew McIntyre.

So, if he isn't challenging The Scottish Warrior at Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar might be a decent shout to go on and win the 30-man match. There would be a lot of intrigue surrounding his possible opponent at WrestleMania 37, with a lot of storyline potential on both, RAW and SmackDown.

Lesnar could very well face McIntyre at 'Mania if he wins the Royal Rumble Match, but that is not his only option. There is a ready-made storyline for him on SmackDown which could happen through a Rumble victory, or possibly at a later point in 2021. More on that in a bit.
