Lex Luger brought back Miss Elizabeth as his manager in late 1999, and soon after he helped Sting win the WCW World title. Luger then began having issues with Sting, and also started treating Miss Elizabeth badly around this time. This led to a match between Luger and Sting, which saw Elizabeth turning on the latter. The association was nowhere close to the magic that Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage had created during their run in WWE in the late 80s.

Elizabeth wrestled her first official bout against Daffney in May 2000. Her contract expired in August 2000, and she quietly left WCW. After WCW was bought off by Vince McMahon, Luger refused to return to WWE.

He made several appearances for Impact Wrestling, and also inducted Sting into the TNA Hall of Fame in October 2012. Elizabeth died on May 1, 2003, due to acute toxicity. She was living with Luger at the time and he was the one who called 911 to report that she wasn't breathing.
