If you’re wondering why everyone brings up the point of John Cena not proposing to Nikki, look no further than Elizabeth Huberdeau – Cena’s ex-wife. The two were high school sweethearts and endured a long-standing relationship before finally tying the knot in 2009.
The couple would remain together for only three years, though, as Cena filed for divorce in 2012. Something that he apparently did out of the blue, if Huberdeau’s version of events is to be believed.
This would result in a nasty public divorce that served to smear Cena’s good-guy image outside of the WWE ring as Huberdeau proceeded to throw in numerous accusations of Cena cheating on her over the years that they were together.
Things were finally settled between the two but not before Cena’s escapades with our next entry on this list came to light...
