#4. Shayna Baszler would re-establish herself as a dominant force by challenging Becky Lynch

Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch have an intriguing history with each other. Before her pregnancy announcement in 2020, the RAW Women's Champion had her last match at WrestleMania 36 against Baszler.

While Lynch emerged victoriously on that occasion, the top star later stated that she originally wanted to lose the title back then. Here's what she said while appearing on The Bellas Podcast two years ago:

"I actually thought I was going to lose the title at WrestleMania, which I also pitched, but that was the end of it. Plans change," Becky Lynch revealed.

Since then, WWE has reduced Baszler to a secondary villainous character, so she doesn't seem an obvious pick to win the 2022 Royal Rumble. However, winning the multi-woman contest would undoubtedly lead her to challenge Becky Lynch due to their backstory.

Only this time around, WWE could elevate The Queen of Spades to prominence with a babyface turn. So even though it's hard to imagine Baszler winning an early ticket to WrestleMania given her recent booking, the exciting premise of a renewed rivalry against Lynch makes it a sensible outcome.
