Edge changed WWE forever when he cashed in his first Money in the Bank contract.

At WrestleMania 21, Edge won the very first WWE Money in the Bank ladder match, though few realized what that meant at the time.

As the first contract holder, many expected that Edge would announce his cash-in at a major event - at SummerSlam, or even WrestleMania.

What actually transpired, was far more unpredictable and brilliant.

After John Cena had barely survived the Elimination Chamber in January 2006, Edge struck, with fans being reminded in shocking fashion that 'cashing in anytime', really meant any time.
