Joey Ryan is perhaps best known for his unique in-ring offense or as Candice LeRae's former tag team partner. Ryan is a talented star who has been making waves all over the Independent scene for the past few years, mostly through controversy.
Back in February 2016, Ryan decided to pop the question to his long-time girlfriend in the middle of the ring, but not like any other star on this list. Ryan was in the middle of a match with James at Finest City Wrestling in San Diego.when he pulled out a ring and proposed after she agreed to become his wife, Ryan then rolled her up and recorded the victory. The video of the proposal later went viral, but this seemingly wasn't enough to keep the couple together following their long walk down the aisle.
The couple went on to marry in November 2017, but in a shock twist of events, it was revealed that the two filed for divorce just a few months later in February 2018. The couple cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and have since had their separation finalized.
