#4. Hope is true: Vince McMahon's RAW segment idea rejected by WWE Superstars and others

There was an interesting part during WWE RAW when RETRIBUTION faced The Hurt Business in an Elimination match. Reckoning, aka WWE star Mia Yim, had what appeared to be a possession of sorts in the middle of the match.

A report on Fightful select stated that the idea was to have Reckoning mimic a seizure, but Mia Yim, among other WWE stars, spoke up against it and said that it wouldn't have been in good taste:

“Fightful has learned that initially, Vince McMahon had wanted Reckoning, AKA Mia Yim to mimic a seizure during the spot on Monday Night Raw. We're told that she, among others spoke up that the method originally pitched was not in good taste. Vince McMahon was said to have liked the spot as it played out, outside of Yim being referred to by her real name.”

We hope this is true because it's good that the WWE stars and others spoke up against the idea. It wouldn't have come off well on television.
