#3. Hope is true: Reason why WWE didn't add NXT to Survivor Series

WWE gave NXT the biggest push ever last year at Survivor Series when the brand was portrayed as a true equal to RAW and SmackDown - defeating both brands dominantly at the fourth-biggest pay-per-view of the year.
Survivor Series is normally a war between two of WWE's main brands RAW and SmackDown - but with NXT's push last year, it appeared to have been elevated to the third brand.
Either way, there have been a lot of backstage issues present in NXT, with rumors that WWE Performance Center trainees have been complaining of "COVID deniers" and many fellow-trainees and staff getting away with ignoring safety precautions.
A report from WON stated that WWE didn't have NXT as a part of Survivor Series this year due to the COVID-19 cases at the Performance Center:
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason for NXT not being part of Survivor Series this year is to prevent any more COVID-19 outbreaks. There have been COVID-19 cases at the Performance Center and Vince McMahon reportedly wants to keep NXT away from the other two brands as a precautionary measure.
We hope this is true because it seems to be a wise decision on WWE's part.
