#5. Hope isn't true: Creative chaos amidst the WWE draft

The draft has caused some confusion backstage in WWE

According to Sportskeeda's own Tom Colohue, the backstage creative status has been in shambles due to the upcoming WWE Draft. Colohue said:

Sources explained to me that the Creative team is working incredibly hard backstage with little idea as to what the creative landscape will look like when the draft is completed. There is a shared concern that ongoing storylines, such as the one between Erick Rowan and Roman Reigns, may have to be hastily rewritten to accommodate a change. Some writers have taken to drafting out multiple possible routes based on those possibilities.

Essentially, creative members are being kept in the dark about the draft changes and as a result, they have to scramble and write out all potential options while possibly ending long-term storylines abruptly and even canceling some.

We sincerely hope that this isn't the case because it seems rather unwise to make creative members scramble just for the sake of keeping the drafts a secret. While we do understand WWE not wanting to leak the major drafts, it still seems like a very roundabout way to go about it.
