#4 WWE fans may never witness Cesaro vs. Drew McIntyre

It is amazing to think that WWE never booked Cesaro to go one-on-one with Drew McIntyre. Both men are representatives of the impressive European performers on the main roster.

While the Swiss Superman has always crafted consistent in-ring quality for almost a decade on RAW and SmackDown, McIntyre had to revitalize himself on the independent scene before he saw himself skyrocket to the top of WWE.

McIntyre and Cesaro are incredible with the right in-ring partner. Their styles could be the perfect mix and create an entertaining series of matches if given the chance. It seems like a no-brainer for the company to book this matchup. If they gave them the right amount of time and the setting, it could be a potential classic in the making.

WWE loves their tag team partners to eventually have a showdown after their breakup. It is almost a guarantee that every successful tag team in the company will eventually go at it inside the squared circle.

The term "good friends, better enemies" is one used quite often in World Wrestling Entertainment for this very reason.

The Swiss Superman teamed up with Shinsuke Nakamura just before the pandemic started. The promotion gave them a larger focus after the move to the ThunderDome. They defeated The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team titles and held them for 82 days before losing them back to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Despite teases of them interacting after their tag team split up, the two tag team partners never faced in a singles meeting. They have delivered plenty of bangers with other excellent performers on the roster, but a matchup of these former friends could have been a showdown that helped propel either man.
