#3 Becky Lynch disagreed with her WrestleMania 36 match outcome

Becky Lynch defeated Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 to retain the RAW Women’s Championship. The eight-minute match turned out to be The Man’s last official in-ring encounter before she announced her pregnancy on the May 11, 2020 episode of RAW.

Shortly after her announcement, Lynch appeared on The Bellas Podcast to discuss motherhood and reflect on her WWE accomplishments.

On the subject of WrestleMania 36, the WrestleMania 35 headliner revealed that she originally wanted to lose against Baszler.

“It [pregnancy] happened before I would have expected and I was still champ at the time. I actually thought I was going to lose the title at WrestleMania, which I also pitched, but that was the end of it. Plans change,” Lynch said. [H/T Fightful]

Becky Lynch gave birth to her first child with Seth Rollins, Roux, on December 4, 2020. The following year, she married Rollins on June 29 before returning to in-ring action against Bianca Belair at SummerSlam.

Baszler, meanwhile, struggled to regain momentum after her unsuccessful title challenge against Lynch at WrestleMania 36. The Queen of Spades became a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Nia Jax, but she soon dropped out of RAW Women’s Championship contention.
