#2 Macho Man Randy Savage never faced Chris Jericho

Macho Man Randy Savage. Second, only to Hulk Hogan, in being one of the most fabulous promo guys in the 80s with his alluring, off the wall style. He had wrestled some great matches in his time, and his stint in WCW was eventful.

It's not quite known why Randy Savage never returned to WWE after he was done with WCW. It's said that he never quite buried the hatchet with Vince McMahon, but perhaps, there were many reasons. But like everyone else on this list, he seems to have some history with Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho recently said that he wished he had gotten to wrestle Randy Savage. In fact, he ran into him at a party, where Savage explained that he would like to work with him some day. He said:

"I think Macho Man would be the biggest one. I was a huge Macho Man fan. Like I said, it's still kind of a drag to me. I actually did a thing with Bubba The Love Sponge, it was an early morning kind of party and Randy was there. He was like, 'I always wanted to work with you. Maybe someday in WWE.' I was like, 'F**k man, you have some pull. Or maybe he didn't say I always wanted to work with you. He said I would like to work with you. Or thought it would be good if we had a match. Something along those lines. But it's always cool to hear that sort of thing."

On paper, this could have worked, had Chris Jericho went toe to toe with Mr. Madness. Both men had fantastic promo skills and their in-ring abilities were excellent. Judging by Jericho's comments, it would have been a dream come true, had it happened.
