There are a number of stars who will be missing from Raw tomorrow night

WWE celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw tomorrow night and after weeks of announcements when it comes to the legends who will be returning for the event, it seems that there are also a handful of WWE stars who definitely won't be part of the show.

These are the WWE stars that the company have contacted and wanted to return to celebrate this milestone with the WWE Universe, but it seems that they have either declined the opportunity to return or have other plans that can't be changed.

It will still be an epic celebration since WWE definitely knows how to throw a party, but it seems that some of these stars will definitely be huge misses on the night.

#5 Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash is a superstar who was definitely one of the main reasons that the company was so popular throughout the 1990s and had made a number of returns to the company ever since, including a few years ago when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The former World Champion was one of the names that was advertised for Raw's 25th Anniversary from the beginning alongside Scott Hall, but it seems that Big Daddy Cool Diesel has been forced to announce that he won't be in attendance at the event.

Nash took to Twitter last week to explain to the WWE Universe that he won't be able to travel to the event because he has recently undergone knee surgery and it is impossible for his to fly over a long distance in his current medical state.

Nash did end the Tweet by assuring WWE fans that he will see them at WrestleMania, which is one silver lining to come out of the whole affair.

#4 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio won't be in attendance tomorrow night

Rey Mysterio is a former World Champion in WWE and was someone who didn't have the greatest departure from WWE a few years ago when the King of Mystery was off screen for more than a year but WWE tried to keep him under contract until he fought for his release.

There have been rumours over the past year about Mysterio and his current relationship with WWE, but with current speculation suggesting that the Master of the 619 is set to make his debut in Impact Wrestling over the next few weeks, it seems that he isn't someone who will be in attendance for the event.

Mysterio hasn't made any comments about Raw or WWE over the past few months which makes it almost a certainty that he won't be part of Raw's celebrations tomorrow night. After all, Rey fought so hard to leave the company, so it is understandable that he is reluctant to return.

#3 Mick Foley

The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley's 1999 World title win was thought to have been the moment when the Monday Night Wars turned around and WWE went on to win. Foley already has his place in history, but it seems that there won't be a place for him at the table tomorrow night.

Foley was asked to return to WWE, but it seems that he already had a family vacation planned and went on to state that he thought it was too soon for his character to return to Raw after he was only fired from his job as General Manager in April last year.

Foley himself thought that another year away from WWE TV was exactly what the storyline needed so he declined the invitation to return and celebrate with his fellow WWE stars and legends.

#2 Edge

The Rated R Superstar is a former 11-time World Champion was forced to retired from WWE back in 2011 when it was discovered that Edge was suffering from Cervical Spinal Stenosis, something that could have left him paralysed if he took the wrong bump in the ring.

Edge relinquished the World Championship and walked away from the company, but has since returned a number of times in a non-physical role. He is also one of the hosts of the Edge and Christian show and many fans were looking forward to the prospect of another Cutting Edge Peep Show on Raw.

Sadly it seems that Edge is another star who isn't going to be in attendance tomorrow night since it is reported that the WWE Hall of Famer is out of the country and can't get back in time for the show.

#1 Bret Hart

Bret Hart is one of the most recognisable superstars in the history of WWE and someone that the WWE Universe fully expected to be part of the show. When Bret wasn't seen on any of the announcements ahead of the event but he was advertised locally in New York City, it seems that a number of fans were concerned, until it was reported that Bret was asked to return but declined the invitation.

It seems that The Hitman has a hand-surgeon flying in from Paris to look at his injured hand on Monday and is unable to reschedule the appointment. He did text Vince McMahon personally to let him know that there was a genuine reason why he wouldn't be attending as it seems that his health is definitely something that he needs to put first.
