WWE No Mercy 2017: 5 possible endings to Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

One m
One more time

Sheamus and Cesaro were the Raw Tag Team Champions but all that changed at SummerSlam. The Bar angered two former members of The Shield which resulted in Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins capturing WWE's red tag titles.

Now, these two teams will go at it once more in Los Angles at No Mercy. It will most likely be a pretty stiff contest thanks to The Bar and there will probably be some high spots thanks to Ambrose and Rollins.

But how could the match actually end? We've concocted come interesting scenarios of how the Raw Tag Team Championship might end at No Mercy. Although some are more conventional than others, every one of them would be entertaining.

After all, when you're talking about the top level talent featured in this match, it should be a good show regardless of what the finish might be.

#1 Double count out/DQ

An old
An oldie, but a goodie

I know nothing is more unsatisfying than to have a great match end with a double count out or disqualification. But both of these teams are really on the top of their game and neither should lose any momentum at this point. A finish like that could allow for all four Superstars to come off looking good while the titles stay on Ambrose and Rollins.

This would also be a fine way to end the match if they wanted to allow the feud to continue or finish the next night on Monday Night Raw in another rematch. After all, you know how much WWE loves giving away championship matches on television.

The Raw Tag Team Division has a few prominent teams ready to pounce on the chance and show what they can do as well. So any number of things could cause a disqualification from an invading Anderson and Gallows to a chair shot in the referee's field of vision.

#2 Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins win clean

1
1-2-3

A clean finish at this juncture could signify an ending to this feud, especially if Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins can pull off the victory.

But regardless of whether this great feud is truly over, it has served a greater purpose: re-uniting Ambrose and Rollins as 2/3 of The Shield. A pinfall after one of Rollins' knee strikes followed by the Dirty Deeds would get a pretty sizeable reaction from the crowd in Los Angeles.

Afterwards, it might be possible for Rollins and Ambrose to move onto the other teams waiting in the wings.

#3 Woken Hardy invasion

Are they coming
Are they coming soon?

Matt Hardy has been teasing something special for awhile and who knows when WWE will pull the trigger on another transformation of The Hardys. But it looks like it could be happening any day now by the sounds of Matt's social media posts.

Anthem Sports currently has a stranglehold on the Broken Universe; therefore, the Hardys will have to be Woken instead. It sounds like a bad joke, but it might become an awesome reality if it goes down.

The Hardy Boyz have teamed with Rollins and Ambrose recently, but they've stepped on allies in the past to get what they wanted. If the Woken Hardys invaded the Raw Tag Team Title match to break out their new gimmick at No Mercy it would be simply DELIGHTFUL.

#4 Sheamus injury angle

Could he b
Could he be taking a break soon?

Apart from being the Celtic warrior, Sheamus also has a blossoming movie career. He might not be on The Rock, Batista, or John Cena's level just yet but he's starting something very cool for himself.

He appeared as Rocksteady in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows and has another filmed lined up called "The Buddy Games", which is written and directed by Josh Duhamel. The film also stars Olivia Munn and Sheamus will play a character named Thrusty.

The film is slated to start soon, so if Sheamus went down with some kind of scripted injury, it might make sense. It could allow him some time off in order to be a movie star for a little bit.

With so much on his plate, Sheamus might have to take a little break from television soon. An injury angle is a fine way of allowing a Superstar to miss some time in order to do another project without breaking kayfabe. But since we're in the Reality Era now, Sheamus might just announce out of the blue, "I'm taking a few weeks off to go play Thrusty."

#5 The clues lead Breezango to No Mercy

T
Their still on the case

SmackDown Live has played host to Breezango as they searched for the Uggos who trashed their dressing room, murdered their stick horsey Tully, and kept writing on the walls with glow in the dark paint. But Tyler Breeze and Fandango have been missing on SmackDown Live for the past couple of weeks.

Breezango did make an appearance on 205 Live to make up for their SmackDown Live absence and it was a great segment, but they really deserve more of a featured spot. After all, few people have been able to make chicken salad out of a gimmick in recent memory better than Breezango.

If they made the jump over to Raw while following the trail to the Uggos it could be epic. After all, everyone chants "you look stupid" at Sheamus anyway. Therefore, if they're not going to do anything with the Fashion Files segments they might as well let them try it out on Raw because they've got way more time to fill on Monday nights.

But hopefully, we'll see The Fashion files once again as soon as WWE can figure out who Breezango has been tracking down this whole time.
