Will John Cena finally break Ric Flair's record?

Ric Flair has been seen as WWE's highest reigning world champion for the past few decades, but the 16-time World Champion had his reign record equaled by John Cena back at The Royal Rumble in 2017 and now the former Champion could return in 2020 and wipe Flair's name from the record books.

Cena didn't wrestle at all on pay-per-view in 2019, which is the first tie he's gone an entire calendar year without wrestling on a large stage for WWE, so in 2020 he could be looking to make up for that. It's obvious that Cena will be part of WrestleMania, last year he appeared to taunt Elias but this year he could return and lay down a challenge to whoever is World Champion at the time and take Flair's record as his own.

Cena is the only star who is close to Flair's reign record since Triple H would be next in line as a 14-time World Champion, followed by Randy Orton on 13 Championships and then Edge who has been rumored to make a return in the coming months, but he would need six Championship reigns this year since he's currently an 11-time World Champion.
