#2 Rey Mysterio won't compete at Survivor Series

The Master of the 619 recently capped off his deeply personal rivalry with SmackDown's Savior, Seth Rollins, with a huge victory. Rollins and Rey Mysterio had gone to war for months, but Mysterio that got the final laugh on SmackDown this week when he defeated The Architect in a No Holds Barred match to close the chapter.
Rollins earned a spot on Team SmackDown after he won a match against Otis to compete at Survivor Series. On the other hand, the masked luchador lost his qualifying match to King Corbin. Hence, he isn't scheduled to compete at Survivor Series.
Mysterio's family endured a lot of pain during their program with Rollins and Murphy. Murphy's romantic angle with Aalyah Mysterio has garnered a lot of interest, so fans can expect that continue for some time. Rey Mysterio doesn't have an opponent for the time being. Moreover, Survivor Series is a week away. Thus there isn't enough time to build towards a match involving Mysterio at Survivor Series.
The Mysterio Family could be involved in some fashion at Survivor Series, probably in a backstage segment.
