Big E has had some stand out performances during his time in the WWE, particularly with the Usos. His strong style and athleticism give him believability, as does his promo skills.
Some fans would not like to see the New Day split up, but it certainly seems as if the group has run its course. All three men are capable of having strong solo runs, but Big E, in particular, has the star quality that could elevate him into being a main event level talent.
Many have speculated that Big E could turn heel after the upcoming superstar shakeup. If he were to have a solo run, turning him heel would be the preferable option, particularly in the short-term in order to reinvigorate his character. If he is kept as a face it might restrict his development due to his New Day links and he could fade into obscurity.
His heel turn could begin with him turning on Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston and then feuding with both. E certainly has the potential to be a have a strong singles run instead of being lumbered with his goofy New Day gimmick.
