Drew's pairing with Ziggler was more of a way to bring back relevance into Dolph's career, and it offered McIntyre a safe spot where he could slowly but surely ease into a prominent spot on Monday Night Raw naturally. Will Drew capture the WWE Universal Championship this year?

Well that remains to be seen, but in the meantime, there's a strong possibility that Drew will be given a reign as the Intercontinental Champion if and when he does inevitably split away from Dolph Ziggler.
