5 WWE Superstars Bray Wyatt could target when he returns to SmackDown this week

Who will be the next Superstar to let him in?
Who will be the next Superstar to let him in?

One of the biggest things we learned this week during the RAW broadcast is that SmackDown will feature the return of the Firefly Fun House. And we know how Bray Wyatt uses the Firefly Fun House as a device to tease his future feuds on SmackDown.

SmackDown will also feature an explosive edition of Miz TV but that's another topic for another article. So now that we know that Bray Wyatt is back, and potentially, The Fiend as well, who will he go after next?

So, let me list down 5 WWE Superstars from the WWE roster who may be next in Bray Wyatt's hit list this week.

#5 Otis has a target on his back on SmackDown

Sure, Mandy Rose is far too talented a performer to play a damsel in distress but I genuinely think that the horror moments that can be produced with Mandy Rose thrown into the mix, with Bray Wyatt trying to get into Otis' head could make for some really compelling television content indeed.

Otis may have King Corbin in his crosshairs right now, but it would be great if adversity comes at him from all directions, with Bray Wyatt, in particular, leading the charge. It is very difficult for the SmackDown audience to sympathize with a character, especially when he has the most beautiful woman in the SmackDown roster by his side.

At this point in time, Otis is getting a bigger push on SmackDown than pretty much anyone else in the current WWE roster right now. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce Prichard and Vince McMahon decide that the only way to get Otis over to a bigger degree than before is to have The Fiend put him over in a big way.

#4 The Fiend enters the WWE Universal Championship feud with Braun Strowman

It does seem like the Universal Championship feud with Braun Strowman against The Miz and John Morrison has come to a halt with whatever happened at WWE Backlash. But, at the same time, even though Braun Strowman may have put Bray Wyatt away during their WWE Universal Championship clash, it is more than evident that The Fiend and Bray Wyatt are not done yet.

Braun Strowman vs. The Fiend is a really big deal because both men have been booked in such a manner where they lose a lot fewer matches than they win. So, the question on everyone's mind is what happens when two unstoppable WWE forces clash in the middle of the ring at WWE Extreme Rules?

Don't forget that once upon a time in WWE, both Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt used to be in the same faction. This is clearly a personal feud for both men, that goes beyond the WWE Universal Championship.

I doubt anybody would decline the title though.

#3 Bray Wyatt turns face and targets WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles

Why would WWE have two of its biggest heels face each other on SmackDown, you rightfully ask and yes, you ask a very valid question, dear reader. The simple answer is that WWE could have either one of these men turn babyface at a moment's notice because of the goodwill that they have in the industry and how beloved they are with the WWE Universe.

In particular, I think that there's a big chance for Bray Wyatt to go face and go after the Intercontinental Championship. You may say that his character is a natural heel, but I disagree, especially if you consider that both The Undertaker and Kane were great babyfaces when they needed to be in their WWE careers. The normal WWE fan gravitates towards darkness.

But yeah, for these two men to feud over the Intercontinental Championship would actually add a lot of prestige to the title that hasn't honestly been felt in WWE for a very long time now.

#2 Bray Wyatt plays mind games with the broken SmackDown star Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy will return to SmackDown a broken man after the personal and heated rivalry he had with Sheamus that culminated in a loss at Backlash. And then, suddenly, Bray Wyatt could tell him that the man with the red beard and the red hair was not anyone else but him in a disguise. It is exactly the kind of character that the 'Mr. Rogers' version of Bray Wyatt who has dominated SmackDown in recent weeks will play with someone like Jeff Hardy.

Listen, it is clear that Bray Wyatt, on SmackDown, is going after everyone he has a personal history with, in order to either hurt or heal them. But at the same time, he cannot go after Matt Hardy considering that the 'Woken' one now wrestles for AEW. The closest thing on SmackDown, for closure to this feud, is Jeff Hardy and what a great rivalry it can be.

Do not think for a minute that Jeff Hardy is afraid to tap into his dark side.

#1 The Fiend calls Brock Lesnar to SmackDown for the ultimate confrontation

Even if you run a cursory scan on Twitter for The Fiend vs. Brock Lesnar, you will see that there are way too many fans that want the fantasy match to actually take place. Now, we do know that Brock Lesnar is slated to make a WWE return very soon indeed but everyone is currently under the impression that it will be to RAW and not SmackDown. But I can totally imagine Brock Lesnar coming to SmackDown for the ultimate confrontation.

While RAW is loaded with talent from Seth Rollins to Drew McIntyre to Bobby Lashley to Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio, SmackDown lacks that one big name with the departure of Roman Reigns. Not only could Brock Lesnar fill the void, Brock Lesnar vs. The Fiend would be a match that would be impossible to predict because of the unbeatable nature of both of these characters.

In fact, the build could start on SmackDown now and the match could play out at SummerSlam 2020.
